Mujahid Woman Kills Four 23 July 2002 Kandahar (Azzam) : Four U.S. troops were instantly killed with a burst of AK47 fire from what was reportedly a woman wearing traditional Islamic clothing. Around 1200 local time on Saturday, a woman was standing by a canal in Kandahar city when she signalled down a U.S. military jeep that was carrying four U.S. soldiers. The vehicle stopped and the woman immediately pulled out an AK47 assault rifle from underneath her clothing and unleashed a deadly barrage of gunfire, killing all four troops instantly since the jeep was of the open top variety. The brave and courageous Muslim sister escaped without harm, before the U.S. could call for retaliatory backup. This move will undoubtedly keep all Coalition troops in a state of emergency and fear, since they know that even the women Mujahideen are out to exile them from their land. A Sharp Rise in Guerilla Attacks Now Seen in Afghanistan London (Azzam): A number of analysts, including some western news agencies are admitting to a sharp rise in the number of guerrilla operations being waged against U.S. and Coalition troops in Afghanistan. According to the BBC Pasthu service, increased activity has been noted throughout Afghanistan, promoting a Jihad against the Americans in Afghanistan. Various pamphlets have reportedly been distributed around areas such as Jaji, which was the city of a great battle against the Russian army in the Afghan Jihad of 1979. It is believed that the Hekmatyar group is becoming increasingly active in inciting the Afghans to take up arms against the American oppressors. Many analysts have compared as identical the initial stages of the first Afghan Jihad against the Russians to this one, whereby the hearts and minds of the Afghan people are slowly leading to an all-out guerilla war against the Americans and their allies. More U.S. Soldiers Perish in Kandahar Kandahar (Azzam): In what is becoming an increasingly worrying trend for the U.S. Military, unknown assailants kidnapped two U.S. soldiers as their vehicle was passing through Mandi Sar Village, which lies on the outskirts of Kandahar airport. Eyewitness accounts have reported that at around 0900 local time on Sunday, a U.S. military vehicle was stopped from all sides at gunpoint and two U.S. soldiers were taken away. The exact fate of the soldiers is unknown, but it is likely that they would have been killed by execution. In a separate incident earlier that morning between around 0400 local time, a rocket hit the inside of Kandahar airport causing dark clouds of fire to rise from the vicinity. The exact number of casualties or damage assessment cannot be verified independently. The situation in Kandahar is deteriorating in terms of security and very few can claim to be safe here. Coalition troops live in a daily state of fear, knowing that death is hunting them from all directions at all times. The vice commander of Gul Agha, the governor of Kandahar, was assassinated on Sunday. The Afghan cabinet is not safe, foreign troops do not roam in freedom through Afghanistan, the majority of Taliban and Al-Qaida Mujahideen continue attacking U.S. troops – one may ask as to who exactly is winning this war?
