The signing ceremony between the Selango+r state government and the SPLASH
consortium will take place on Monday, January 24 2000 at the Pan-Pacific
Glenmarie Hotel.
SOS Selangor calls upon the people to unite in peaceful protest against the
Selangor Dam project. The project has been ill-conceived from the very
start, and, without a doubt, will be an environmental, social and economic
disaster. In the spirit of citizen action, you are invited to join your
fellow Klang Valley residents in presenting a united front and in demanding
that all developments pertaining to this project be halted while a new,
independent EIA is commissioned and conducted.
Please join us! Stand up to demand transparency and accountability for the
new millenium. Please seriously consider taking leave or a short break from
work to join us for this important event.

From KL, take the Federal Highway and exit RIGHT at the Subang Parade /
Carrefour exit to get onto Jalan Subang.
After 500 meters take the LEFT turn (you will see a sign for the
Pan-Pacific Glenmarie) onto Jalan Kerjaya.
Pass EON then HICOM on your right, then take the right fork in the road.
You will reach the entrance of the golf clubhouse... the hotel is right
next to it. Meet in the hotel lobby.
