One of UMNO's biggest problems is the internet. It is UMNO's greatest weakness and BA's greatest strength. All components must take advantahge of the situation by:

(01) Using the internet to reach the people

(02) Promoting greater use of the internet among the rakyat, supporters and members.

There must be BA strategy to handle the internet. There must be clear objectives and targets. Each component of the internet must be clearly identified and there must be effective implementation of steps in each component of the internet.

General:
BA and BA components IT committees at National/States/Bahagian/cawangan/roles and responsibilities/Targets/Measurements/Programmes/Promotions

Modes:
Websites/Mailing Lists/Newsgroups/Web TV/Web Newspapers/Web Forums/Feedbacks/Complaints/Instructions/Announcements/Views/Analysis/Chats/Video/Audio/Images

Hardware:
Sales/Promotion/Availability/Distribution/Sharing/Logistics/roles of BA branches/IT companies

Training:
People/members/supporters/Email/Surfing/Website creation/Internet components/Teachers & teaching/facility/Promotion/role of BA branches/IT companies/Youth/Women/BA leaders/Awareness campaign/Workshops/IT shows

Modest initial targets:

All cawangans must be able to be reached by email by a certain date. All Divisions/Branches must have IT Committee by a certain date. All IT Committees National/States/Division must have quantitative IT targets such as no of persons/programmes at various timeframes.

BA must be aware that no way it is able to overcome UMNO in normal media areas. However if intensive effort is made on IT, UMNO would be left far behind because IT itself is actually 'neutral' and could not take sides but the truth IT brings make people becoming closer to BA. If BA controlled IT and if more rakyat are exposed to IT, BA messages could reach all. In case of UMNO promoting IT to its supporters and members, it should be the best thing that can happen to BA because through IT, BA could now easily 'reach' them while it is difficult to reach them now. In fact UMNO is really afraid that its members be internet inclined because it can be seen that those with internet access now are mostly pro BA simply because they have been' reached' by the alternative media. In any survey done through the web, it is noticed that roughly only 15% is pro BN. The number has not grown despite the people being fed lies daily by normal UMNO media. Not many people likes to be associated with filth. There's always about 15% of them around anywhere. Once the population is touched by IT, 85% of the people would dump UMNO/BN. Mahadzir could probably be the country's last UMNO PM.
